Things I didn’t immediately do upon my return home from an intense, hazy weekend in New York:

• Unpack my bags.
• Change out of my gross bus clothes.
• Unpack the boxes in my room (moving day was Sept. 1, and I skedaddled off to NY the day after).
• Pee even though my bladder is crying out in excruciating pain.

Things I did instead:

• Draw “value studies” of Sherlock (what did I do to his lips/nose/face??) and John (whom I usually always have a really hard time drawing).

I cropped the sketch to hide my absurdly bad sketch of Martin Freeman/John below, because I made him look like a ghoul. I still can’t get his wide-eyed look down (among many other things, sigh) but it’s…a work in progress.
